The BHSC is geared towards competitive swimming. The club is structured to allow our young swimmers in Learn to Swim to progress all the way through to the top end of our competitive programme. This happens in a progressive way through each squad. Every squad has specific criteria and goals which gives a clear pathway from one squad to the next.
The wealth of experience and drive our teachers and coaches bring will help you to achieve your goals, whatever they may be. We are a competitive club, so we do believe in excellence both from our staff and swimmers. Our philosophy is to develop extremely competent swimmers whilst bringing fitness and enjoyment into your lives. We strive to offer the best in swimming teaching, coaching and dry-land tuition we can offer.
The Club is divided into three main sections:
Learn to Swim
The Club actively encourages family involvement and there are various fund raising and social activities throughout the year which are great fun and help promote a good club atmosphere. Club Championships are held for the competitive squads annually.
Whatever your own personal goals or ambitions it is our hope that, together with our expertise and your determination, we can achieve them.
